Annual Update

Annual update is a good time to analyze a stock holding by casting a critical eye at the annual report and opportunities for future growth and price appreciation, actually PAR or projected annual return.

Analysis gathering in an Excel spreadsheet (starting with #2 Manifest, assuming that I have a paper annual report).

1. Annual report
2. Tool Kit 5 update price and fundamental data (not finished yet ... analysis of sales and income growth to be conditioned by remaining analysis)
3. Manifest Investing - consider
   • Sales Growth Forecast
   • Average P/E Ratio (signature PE)
   • Projected Annual Return
   • Quality rating
   • Industry - how do each of the factors above compare to other companies in the industry?
     • Looking for the cream of the crop: growth, PE expansion, high quality, and good enough PAR to be interested
     • sort by PAR ... easier comparison
4. current Value Line report
5. TD Ameritrade
   • curent Standard and Poor company report
   • Ford value chart
   • Ford industry report
   • First Call Earnings Valuation report

A time saving device would be to analyze one sector or industry at a time.
