Installing software directly from an ISO
- Virtual Drive software seems to be the way to attack the problem. This is better than first burning a CD or DVD.
- Microsoft has virtual CD-ROM Control panel for XP from about 2004 -- it doesn't appear to be updated or supported.
- Investigate List of ISO software
  - MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM
  - Another possibility is Alcohol 52% Free Edition which is free for personal use. (but may not work with Win 7).

I don’t want to go faster. If anything I’d like to be able to go slower because I don’t think all that fast.
