• The spreadsheet in Google documents has some hidden functions that I had never seen before: linkage to specific data elements in Google Finance such as price, volume, market-cap, PE, etc. (help info) Very slick functions for building a portfolio management worksheet.
  • The syntax fairly simple. To insert the current volume of Google stock
  • =GoogleFinance("GOOG"; "volume")
• Apparently there are more Google Finance functions/scripts available. See Google Apps Scripts - Finance Services and a discussion of some of these scripts (link )
