Dividend Paying Companies
- 36 Companies Likely to Raise Dividends in the Next 10 Weeks
- US Dividend Champions XLS file - regularly updated. Includes very complete set of data including Dividend dates (Ex, Record, & Pay), payout ratio, and a wide variety of fundamental data. Updated monthly by David Fish (Link is at: http://dripinvesting.org/Tools/Tools.asp
- Although not my favorite place to eat (way too many years of kids and drive-through's), eating at the Denver airport last week I observed my sister-in-law eating a great looking salad with chicken from McDonald's (cost < $5) while I was sharing a $10 sandwich from a sandwich shop. McDonald's! McDonald's: Dividend Stock Analysis currently yielding about 2.89%, payout ratio of 51.6%, 34 years of dividends, 1.6 PEG, Dividend of $2.26 in 2010 has risen rapidly: 2005=$0.67; 2000 = $0.215. (all numbers from the very useful US Dividend Champions XLS file mentioned above!)
  - The article referenced above is from Dividend Growth Investor. The entry criteria is at the individual website (rather than SeekingAlpha). The criteria:
    - consistently raised distributions for at least ten years in a row
    - P/E < 20
    - dividend payout ratio < 60%
    - yield at least 2.50% at the time of purchase
- Dividends4Life at SeekingAlpha is another decent source with a recent article on McDonald's
