PmWiki http://www.pmwiki.org/, 2.2.0-beta42 (2007-03-27) available under General Public License. PmWiki is a wiki-based system for collaborative creation and maintenance of websites. PmWiki pages look and act like normal web pages, except they have an "Edit" link that makes it easy to modify existing pages and add new pages into the website, using basic editing rules. You do not need to know or use any HTML or CSS. Page editing can be left open to the public or restricted to small groups of authors.

Monthly Calendar - The default view is for weekend days split 50/50 in a single box. To show Saturday and Sunday in separate boxes right-click anywhere in Calendar view, and then click Other Settings. Clear the "Compress weekend days" check box.

SyncBack http://www.2brightsparks.com/ (SyncBack Freeware V3.2.14 October 2006) backup and synchronize your files to: the same drive; a different drive or medium (CDRW, CompactFlash, etc); an FTP server; a Network; or a Zip archive. Scheduling utility included.

DropBox a storage application and synchronization service in the cloud. Store and sync files online and between computers, entry point is 2 GB of free space. Uses SSL transfers with AES-256 encryption, and supports revision history so files deleted from the Dropbox folder may be recovered from any of the synced computers

Foxit Reader PDF reader removed 2010-01-02 after continuing frustration with printing of 2-up. Doesn't correctly handle the small fonts correctly (sometimes blank) and messes up the right to left order of the pages, unless you flip the pages. Replaced with:

• PDF-XChange Viewer v.2.044 Excellent features!! Even able to handle booklet printing directly from the "viewer".
• jPdfTweak slick little utility to merge, split, and reorder PDFs.

TrueCrypt open source, file and disk encryption software.

DoPDF PDF Converter, lightweight install doesn't require Ghostscript. Started using Oct 2009. Previously used CutePDF.

  ImgBurn also free, has MUCH better diagnostics of the disk - I used this to make copies of a DVD movie (old VHS-C home movie recorded onto a DVD -R on a stand along DVD recorder).  ImgBurn worked flawlessly!
